Flying V Farm is proud to offer fennel bulbs which we sell in the Spring and Fall. An Italian favorite— we use it chopped or grated in everything!
The valley that Flying V Farm stewards has been farmed in various ways for more than fifty years. This wind machine is a remanent from a past operation and was used to protect delicate apple and pear blossoms from frost.
The Flying V Farm member-owners! Flying V Farm is cooperatively run and worker-owned/operated. The four member-owners gained their farming knowledge from working at Farms in Nevada City, California. In January 2018, they brought their collective knowledge and skills to Placerville to start Flying V Farm.
Flying V Farm has several acres of organic Fuji and Gala apples. The crew has gleaned much of their orcharding knowledge from experience orchardist and friends as pictured here.
